The Australian-Chinese Wushu (Kungfu) Cultural Association (ACWKCA) offers a structured accreditation program for martial arts instructors, emphasizing professionalism, safety, and excellence. Our program includes four progressive levels of accreditation, designed to meet industry standards and equip instructors with the skills and knowledge required for responsible teaching.

Accreditation Process

Follow these steps to achieve accreditation:

  1. Apply Online and Pay Initial Fee:
    • Submit your application online, using online form[Insert online form].
    • Pay the non-refundable initial fee of AUD $150 following the payment instructions on our website (refer to payment info page)
  2. Receive Submission Instructions:
    • After your application is processed, you will receive detailed instructions via email to complete the accreditation process.
  3. Complete Training Programs:
    • Depending on your accreditation level, additional training programs are required (subject to additional fees).
  4. Submit Documents for Review:
    • Gather and submit all required documents for evaluation by our accreditation team.
  5. Receive Accreditation Number and Certificate:
    • Upon successful review, you will be issued an Accreditation Number and certificate, officially recognizing your qualification.

Our program offers four levels of instructor accreditation, tailored to progressively advance your expertise in Chinese Kung Fu, Tai Chi and martial arts instruction. Each level builds on your technical knowledge, instructional methods, and practical application of martial arts techniques across different styles.

  1. Level 1: Foundational Accreditation
    • Focuses on fundamental teaching principles and basic martial arts techniques.
    • Emphasizes safety, risk management, and essential skills required to teach beginner students.
    • Suitable for instructors starting their teaching journey in traditional Chinese Kung Fu, Tai Chi or similar disciplines.
  2. Level 2: Intermediate Accreditation
    • Covers instructional methods and medium-level martial arts techniques.
    • Includes training in various traditional Kung Fu, Tai Chi styles, emphasizing precision and adaptability.
    • Designed for instructors teaching students with intermediate skills, preparing them for higher levels of martial arts practice.
  3. Level 3: Advanced Accreditation
    • Focuses on advanced techniques and teaching methodologies.
    • Includes instruction in complex forms, applications, and strategies across multiple Kung Fu, Tai Chi styles.
    • Equips instructors to train advanced students and guide them toward mastery in their chosen martial arts style.
  4. Level 4: Master Accreditation
    • Reserved for elite instructors with expertise in specialized Kung Fu techniques and Tai Chi styles.
    • Includes comprehensive training in advanced planning, leadership, and coaching competitive or professional-level martial artists.
    • Recognizes an instructor’s deep knowledge and ability to preserve and promote traditional Chinese martial arts at the highest level.

Each level requires completion of specific training programs, submission of required documents, and evaluation by our accreditation team to ensure you meet the standards of excellence set by ACKCA.
