Australia Kung Fu Tai Chi Festival

The Australia Kung Fu Tai Chi Festival is an annual cultural celebration of Chinese martial arts and Tai Chi, first proposed and successfully organized by Shifu Daniel Yunkuo Wang. It brings together martial arts schools, Tai Chi masters, and enthusiasts from around the world for a full day of performances, competitions, and community connection.

1st Festival: Successfully held on 20 September 2025 at Arthur Whiting Park, Castle Hill
Annual Date: Every year on the first Saturday of September
Location: Sydney, Australia

In addition to the annual Australia Kung Fu Tai Chi Festival, the Association also organises a special Lantern Festival Kung Fu & Tai Chi Celebration, held in early spring to mark the traditional Lantern Festival.

This event focuses on cultural celebration, community participation, and festive martial arts performances, offering a more relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere while continuing the spirit of Kung Fu and Tai Chi exchange.

Annual Competitions

Every year, we organize International and National Chinese Kung Fu, Wushu, and Tai Chi Competitions in Sydney, Australia. These events bring together martial artists of all levels to showcase their skills, learn from each other, and celebrate the rich heritage of Chinese martial arts.
